We have a great team of volunteers working together to prepare and deliver nutritious meals along with a short visit to elderly, disabled, homebound and convalescing individuals in our community. Meals are delivered Monday through Friday. Deliveries of both a hot meal and a cold meal are made midday at the same time by teams of 2 volunteers. We always need and welcome new volunteers.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE Monday Through Friday
- Packers
- Packers assist the cook, help in the kitchen and package food (prepared by our cook) into containers.
- Packers volunteer Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 11:30 AM.
- Drivers and Visitors
- Drivers and Visitors work together as a team to deliver meals.
- Drivers follow a set route, provided on a clipboard.
- Visitors carry the meals into each home, offering a brief friendly visit.
- The delivery team (driver and visitor) volunteer Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
